The item itself is not the quality or size advertised, which wasn't too surprising, I suppose. But the return process and, so far, the customer service, is absolutely horrid. I have made five attempts so far to begin the return process and haven't received a response.

This jacket is perfect! Very thick fleece and what I wanted for the winter. I live in a very cold area and have to walk my dogs with baby in the carrier so I wanted something that could go over him as well. The little hood part is perfect for him and is big enough that there is room for him to grow into it. I usually carry him in a wrap but have tried it with another carrier and it works great with both. I am 5’2 and 150 lbs, the large is a perfect fit with enough room to wear a heavy sweater under. I wear this jacket without the insert as well when I’m not wearing baby. I already get so much use out of it and am so happy. The jacket is heavy enough that I can wear on cold days but if it goes below 35-40 I usually wear another winter coat over top. It is long enough to cover babies feet in the carrier as well.

I have the size small... I'm 4'11 and currently 120 pounds. It fits perfect on me both while carrying my 10 week old and when I'm not. The front part zips out and it wears as a regular fleece jacket. It's warm enough for winter for me and it's comfortable in hockey rinks, too. :)

The only strange thing are the pockets. They were connected by a couple thicker threads but I cut them and are fine. They don't enclose by zip or button... open pockets but I trust some items in there and they stay. Soft, comfortable, over all great jacket.

I don't usually write reviews, but I absolutely love this jacket and in fact, it is probably one of my top 10 favorite baby purchases. I got it for the sole reason that I often have to walk my dog at night with my infant. It is much thicker and cozier than I expected. I love how soft the fuzzy interior is. I only got it to cover my baby wrap carrier, but I wear the jacket even when I don't have the baby on me because it's so comfortable and perfect for me when the temp is between 20-45 degrees out. Also fits comfortably under a heavier coat during this arctic blast we are currently experiencing. The hood for the baby is a bit big right now (he is 2 months old) and the opening where his head goes is too low for us (I keep him high enough to easily kiss the top of his head), but I usually just don't zip up the sides the last 6 inches and instead fold the baby cover part down at the very top and this works well for us right now. It will be perfect as is once he's a bit bigger. I also wish the bottom of the baby cover zip on part were tapered to make it more narrow because even with my very wide hips, when the carrier cover is attached, the bottom of the jacket is very wide and can get a little drafty. Either way, this is great quality and can easily be made to work from newborns to toddlers and after that continue to be a great jacket for Mom or Dad.

Cozy, functional, and inexpensive
Just what I was looking for! Very cozy and comfortable, and easy to use with or without the center panel. Plenty of room for baby. It’s a bit longer (and a little narrower without the center panel) than I expected, which is fine. I am 5’2” and 130lbs and I ordered a Medium. It fits fine (I do have to roll the cuffs), but if you want to wear a heavy sweatshirt or sweater with it, I would go up a size. I find this to be true of both products I have bought from this company. I’m very pleased with my purchase- great quality, very cozy and functional, and a great price! Much less expensive than other products of its kind.
